apple picking

Last week (or was it the week before?) Ammon and Hyrum got to help pick granny smith Apples from my mom's tree with my sisters and brother. They had so much fun!

Hyrum Kept carrying around the EASY button from stapels. So all while My sisters picked apples the backyard echoed with the sound of "That was easy. That was easy. That was easy...."

Ammon liked picking the Granny Smith Apples while he ate his Red Delicious Apple from Smiths. Go figure.

Pick one up, take a bite, put it down. Take another, take a bite, put it down. Repeat!

They had so much fun! The entire kitchen table at my mom's was covered in apples! We've been eating all kinds of apple treats (which is good, because apples are my FAVORITE fruit). Isaac even tried his hand at making his own apple crisp. He had never baked before but it turned out super yummy! I have made some apple pastries too. Despite the ton of apples we brought home though, I won't be able to make many more treats. The boys have been eating the apples plain like CRAZY! :) We keep finding apple cores everywhere.
